Re: Bel 955 Isn't That Good? As far as the detector not going off that much, it's a blessing! Now, in the city, K and X are problematic. City NoX remedies most of it. But you can bet 9 times out of 10, if it's a Ka alert, it's real. Having road tested the "top of the line" Cobra recently, it's a joke. It's better than past ones but that thing falses Ka more than anything I've ever seen. I could NOT be confident about alerts running one of those. With the 955, I have maybe 3 or 4 falses on my commute tops. If I'm getting an alert and it's NOT one of those, I KNOW to slow down. I've had more saves than I could even keep up with, the longest being a 4 mile Ka 34.7 alert on a straight, flat road on a cold, dry day.
Arrows would be a nice thing to have, but the Vectors don't leave you wanting for range.
