Hmm...This is one possible example of a very strong cosmic ray hit to electronics. We experience this from time to time with our CCD imaging cameras on our telescopes. Every once in a while a really strong cosmic ray hit is strong enough to cause charge to be trapped within the CCD's substrate. This can take a few days to clear itself.
So, dplatel01's suggestion of waiting for a few days could possibly work. Obviously after a few days do a factory reset and then see if everything is okay.
Just think folks, strong cosmic ray hits can flip digits in your bank account balances!
