Default My Caveman radar detector

I know this has been brought up before...

In driving around in the car with my Vector 995, I do receive a lot of false K-band alerts. One day my daughter asks, "Dad, why does it say 'Caveman?'"

Then I suppose there's the "Ca-ave-man" alert too!

To embrace technology is not to blindly except it. we must always question technology but never be afraid to use it.

My kids think that the police are actually called "X-Man," "K-Man," and "Ka-Man."

I turned off the voice on my RX65, I don't know why, but I find it annoying. The Whistler female voice is better, as is the 9500i voice.

x2. With the windows down, you can't even hear the male voice of the RX65. It just sounds like a break in the alert tones. I strongly prefer the female voice judging from the videos I have watched (never have actually seen a 9500i).
