Default Sti Driver power consumption amps?

I am looking at buying a 24V - 12V converter and can't find any info on what the maximum amps the Sti Driver draws and if it would be any higher with the external speaker jacked in.

Can anyone help me out please

    I would call Beltronics on this but I thinks it's 12V - 16V?

Yep that sounds like the voltage range. I'm looking for the current it uses in amperes so I can figure which converter to buy.

Giving them a call is an option.
    Thanks

The draw of an RD should be around 1-2 amps, but check the fuse in the lighter plug too.

Good idea, I didn't think of that.
The fuse in the direct wire kit is 2A and I also just realized the external speaker has it's own power supply

I'm now thinking the cheaper 2000 mA converter should do the trick.

    Thankyou.
