BEL XR70

Hi there,

I'm currently looking into the BEL XR70, but can't find much info about it. From what I gather it appears to be a replacement for the RX65?

Any information appreciated

P.S. I'm from New Zealand

Welcome to the forum. As far as I know, no. The newest model is the Beltronics PRO GX65.

Hi mate,

The XR70 is sold in Western Australia and it is the replacement unit for the RX65. Many say that it's simply a rebadged RX65 + software update - I can't confirm this but from what i have seen, Multanova detection seems to be similar between the two units (probably a slight advantage to the XR70) so i wouldn't be surprised if it's simply rebadged + software update.

I'd recommend an Escort X50 over either of these units if you're staying in that price range. Good luck mate.

Hi guys,

Cheers for that, this one's $1 Reserve on TradeMe so may pick it up if it goes cheap enough. I had an X50 this time last year, was pretty happy with it actually, then I went to a V1 but I think I might head back to the X50 as you mentioned.
