V995 freezing

Hi guys, my 995 had been working great for about a year until now. It powers up fine and all functions work but it will just freeze after an unspecific amount of time, sometimes right after it powers up sometimes not for a couple of minutes. When it freezes up you cant do anything even power it down. Just wonderin what the heck is going on here and if anyone else had this problem. Its out of warranty now so i really dont know what there is to do.

The obvious would be to do a full reset of the firmware. Also, what platforms are your V995's? S7 or M4?

I figured out my problem, it was a loose connection on the hardwire.

My V995 is the M4 platform, also how would i reset firmware on it?

With the detector off, press and hold CITY and BRT then press power. RD will display RESET and boot up. You will have to reprogram any settings you had before the reset.

I did the reset this morning on the V995 and no changes. Still freezes shortly after powering up.
