Help: A4M9 on a 2608...is this OK?!?!

Hi Guys,

I just got my Bel STi and it is a 2608 with A4M9, before I received it, I got the dealer who sold it to me to send it to Bel to have it flashed for the Ramp-Up fix. I have tested the Ramp-Up and it seems gradual like it should be so that's good.

From what I read on these forums, I should be looking for an A6M9 or A7M9 to avoid the 33.8 KA problem.

Should I be worried about having an A4M9? I have read on these forums that Toronto police use 33.8 KA so this would directly affect me.

With that manufacture date you should not have any issues, the 33.8 problem was way before that. Plus if it was sent in for the ramp up issue, I would think it was a total software reflash.

So even if I have an A4M9, I should have the newest firmware that would've fixed the 33.8 problems right?

If so, that's good to hear because I was worried that the 33.8 problem was a result of the A4M9 hardware which would mean I was screwed.
