well, i was just reading other peoples threads on the mounting of radar detectors. i'm wondering if i'm mounting at the right place. i have a 08' honda accord and its fairly low compare to a suv/truck for those of you who seen it on streets. i read that its better to mount the detector in the upper/top portion of the windshield for better radar band range detection. is that true??? the owner's manual, it says to mount it a little above the bottom middle portion of the windshield. since, it has the gps for safety cam, it suppose to have a clear view from the top gps sensor. at the moment, i have it mounted about 1/4 above from the bottom of my windshield... do you think i should move to maybe 1/3 or to the middle of the windshield? would that effect the gps safety cam detection?? and would that help strength more on the detection range? I'M kinda new to the gps safety cam detections, so i do not know what is the best way to enhanced the overall performance of my detector. any helps and suggestions related to this or any other experiences you guys may have would be appreciative.
