Weird issue with the 955

I've had it for probably 6 months now and like it. The first few months were perfect, until I decided to hardwire it. There's power to the detector, but it is now displaying voltage on the screen. For instance, it will usually read (A 14.3) or so, and when it goes off will just show Ka with the bars relative to the distance from the source. This doesn't seem to effect the performance of the detector, I'm just curious why it suddenly went into this mode.

Settings are likely messed up. Reset the unit by powering off, then hold down city+bright, then press power. Unit should display "reset" then the software version then start working.

Also, double check where you hooked up power to, sometimes it can be a bad ground.

Yeah I was thinking that, however I also plugged it into the cigarette plug and it did the same thing. I'll try resetting it in about 20 minutes when I head out. I hope that works.

Most people have to pay extra for that feature.

I hard wired my 965 today. I did not have such problem.
