Where to get a Sti Driver in Ontario Canada?

I have a Sti driver and laser interceptor Dual for my 09 F150. Now my wife decided to buy a Chrysler 300c HEMI as our 2nd car I think it might be a good idea to buy some countermeasures for this car as well. With 340 ponies under your foot I think I could get in trouble fast. I bought my Sti and Laser Interceptor state side but got nailed with duty both times. Is there somewhere in Canada I can buy both??? Help please??

Does Roy not ship to Canada though??? I thought that was the whole point of internet purchasing, you could dodge some of the taxes?

is the easiest way to get your hands on an STI and tell them to ship it to your closest UPS Store south of the border, for instance I live in Toronto and got my STI from Roy exactly 3 years ago shipped to the UPS Store in Niagara Falls, NY, no sales tax, just $5 to the store, same day went to the local (now gone for good) Circuit City store and they professionally hardwired it, then got back to Canada, Peace Bridge, like nothing happened, what do you mean by duties, been in the States dozens of times and bought half of the country and nobody told me anything about any duties, are there duties coming back to Canada, personally don't know anything about this subject!!!

But if you ever decide to drive down in the States you have a ton of places to get your STI from, all Pilot, Love's and Flying J truck stops carry the STI

A friendly advice, try to give no details about your vehicles when you really know the penalty for running such equipment in Ontario, cops usually stop by and educate themselves about equipment and technics where to install the RD or LJ, hwybear is just one of them

Yes he does.

My $500us STi-D was $800 CANADIAN. by the time it was all said and done (and paid)

difference was that i had Roy shipp it to Canada. I couldn't find the reciept with the brakedown for numbers.

I did however find a fedex reciept for when i bought laser shield and vail. A total of 139 dollars that i paid to Roy.

Duty and taxes.........................10.95
GST/HST....................................23.33
BROKERAGE FEES......................33.00
GST/HST on brokerage fee.........1.65
DISBURSMENT/BOND FEES......... 5.85
GST/HST on disbur./bond fee......0.29

and the grand total to FedEx for shipping a 139 dollar item across the border IS: $75.07

i wanted to puke.

I wish i could find the receipt for the RD. it's a lot better.


So next time i'm shipping to a friends in US and smuggling it accross the border.
