    Default RX65 - ticket

I was driving on a highway in almost no traffic, talking on my phone when the cops turns up in front of me (drving on a hilly road). RX65 went mad and in like 2-3seconds they gave me blue lights.

I pulled over, got in the police car and they were using golden eagle radar. They did well, there was no chance for me to avoid this except driving at 90 km/h, was cought at 111, and that was pretty true, I had no chance of slowing down, they nailed me in 1 sec. The distance between us must have been around 200 meters.

    Damn

Instant on and a lack of situational awareness (on the phone) scored you that ticket. Sorry man. It happens to the best of us.

Instant On, that is hard to defend against. Sorry about your ticket Having a good radar detector is only part of a good defense and I/O and QT; you gotta have a rabbit too.

Sorry to hear that. Believe me, I/O is probably the 2nd worst speed monitoring you could be hit with.

What's the worst? Laser isn't it because it can be jammed.

Should have been using the latest V1, then you would have had a chance.

lol, no one took the bait on this one since I only mentioned the V1. But thing is if you were using a V1 or the 9500ci I think you would have had a better chance.

Maybe the cop was quick triggering people before him?

Obviously there is no way to know for sure because Belscorts do not detect this type of radar, just purely speculation on my part.

Seriously though, I have found many times if you keep an eye out ahead of you (and off the phone) I/O can be beat without a detector.
