problem?

Okay, so ive had my rx65 for a while now. I have it hardwired up by my RVM, and always take it down every time i park. I keep it on highway at all times and have x, voice alert, and sws alerts off. yesterday i was headed home on the interstate and i got a KA alert and 2 seconds later this pedifile voice comes on to tell me KA alert and the my speaker gets way quieter, but u can still hear the beeps. I tried to program it again and it comes up Blind Or and then goes back to highway. I tried all the unplugging, and plugging. Any ideas? Dont really want to send it in.

Pedobear has attacked the RX65.
An occasional problem on Bels, the settings being forgotten. Try the reset and it will probably go away. My bel has asked me if I would like my nonexistent jammers to receive only or block. If you notice a drop in performance, then send it in.

Thank goodness there is no loss in performace yet. Im about to do the reset and hope I can get it back to normal. If not, as long as there isn't loss in performance, I can live with the weird voice.

He knew I was full of crap but every since then I can not help but think it... "GAY MAN!" every time it goes off. I now have my grandson believing it. I ask him if it might be commenting on him or not

Abut your problem. The speaker eventually will fail and you can make it better for a short time by taking it out and exercising it and it will get a bit louder. I was lucky enough to have Bel send me a couple of speakers to fix mine.

All fixed. I did the factory reset in a round about way. It would not let me do it easily. I found out the when it was saying blind or... that it was a sws message trying to say blind or deaf kid. I have no idea. Well now least I don't have to listen to Mr. Pedo. It's kind of coincidental that the pedo voice and kid alert started happening at the same time. That's the last thing I need.
