Default Bell 940 better than 995

hey all, been a long time since I've been on here. Recently my x50 was stolen, so I picked up a v940 to use until I decided what to replace my x50 with. The other day I picked up a 995 to play with. Long story short, the 940 detected earlier in every instance. The 995 was. Version 6.3, while the 940 is version 6.5. Anyone know anything about this new version?

6.3/6.5 should perform the same, whether it be a 940 or a 995. What you're seeing is due to Belscorts manufacturing variances; you will rarely find two detectors that perform the same.
