After reading a thread which stated turning off Ka band made K-band QT reception on Bells go way up, it seemed clear to me that its likely a processing time issue.
So, I did a little experiment (not scientific yet, didn't want to spend a lot of time on this unless the preliminary results show good results). I turned off X and laser (I have jammers, don't really need the laser detector on the RD), and set it to highway mode, with POP off. With X and laser off QT performance against my Bushnell went way up, but I don't have timings yet. My next test will be checking how GPS on/off impacts this (don't really need the GPS when I'm on road trips since Georgia doesn't have speed cameras). If the trend holds up I'll see what I can do to make this more scientific.
