So youre aware of the issue at the time of design, and didnt make a solution then? And youre still not offering a solution now?
    GREAT PLAN!
Let's start a pool. Which will be fixed first: the QT issue, the ramp-up issue, or this new issue?

Or have they accidently loaded the GX65 detector tools up for STi-R+ owners?
I spoke to soon, when I plugged my detector in it showed up.
But the option to turn Laser to blocking is no longer available.

An internet connection is now required during the update process. This is the design plan going forward for Detector Tools. If you have a laptop with Wi-Fi then it shouldn't be a problem, there are hotspots everywhere.

You can change the laser blocker settings in Detector Tools v1.2 it just isn't very intuitive. There are 3 states for the laser setting button. Solid, empty, and flashes briefly then empty.

Solid, or filled, is laser receive only
    Empty is laser blocking active
Flashes then empty is laser off

This should be changed in the next version of Detector Tools

Seems to me more of a money grab to force a separate subscription for each detector capable of being updated. If you have a remote install you are SOL unless you drive to a hot spot, a good reason not to get a remote install.
