this is the third time with three bel detectors over the years that flashes 'service required' or 'needs calibrating'. stuff me, what service can it require ? i live in australia and the last time it said 'needs calibrating i sent it to bel in the usa and cost me $50 plus another $50 from customs because they opend it for inspection ! if i'd have known this after a period of time that it was going to go out of operation because it need a service or calibrating i wouldn't have bought one. i mean what happens to them and what do they do to fix them. can a local electrical shop fix them instead of sending it overseas and being inconvenienced for at least a month and out of pocket ?
