i think the most important band is Ka

Well it depends. The STI supposedly has no leakage and the V1 has very little.

No such thing as no leakage. It may have very little leakage in the commonly searched bands.

I agree KA is the most dangerous... followed closely by K band. Kband is a hassle because many real cops use it, yet its also commonly false alerts from nearby CVS stores.

X-band is also a common false source, but as we have seen it is still in use. But all of the detectors detected x-band so well it would not be a problem. The biggest problem with xband is people turning it off, or ignoring it.

As for laser... I like havig good laser detection. Im convinced that my V1 saved me from a laser encounter once, when the cars in front of me were hit and I picked up scatter. Sure a jammer is the best option, but not everybody can afford or install a jammer in addition to their detector.

All the experts agree with me and not with Gol that the V1 is showing its age and remember the V1 still can't see KA band pop mode so again whats your point?.

Wrong! The V1 CAN see Ka POP just like I can see that I am MUCH more stealthier than RacerX

Who says the V-1 cant see KA POP with there new software release? No-one has checked since then, soooo who are all your so called experts :roll: V-1 one is still very much #1 in my book
