Just wondering what the point of separating the forums out is. Seems like a really bad idea to me since both are so closely related. IMO, it'll just make things harder to find.

I have seen this happen to BBS forum software, where because of the heavy posting the server gets bogged down, recently people have made comments including me, noticeing increased lag. In these cases a simple resolution to the matter would be to further split things up. It alows the server to better perform better. One of the cavits of being very popular.
If this is the case, another "fix" is to archive the old stuff, again seen this method put to good use, although I believe in the example above, it was ultimate BB software that had this performance delema, the idiotic thing about it was that there was a upgrade fee for having the archive feature, anyways that was a fww years back I would not expect these issues to presents at this time, but then again.
In regards to what I said above a great time to do these changes are at the begining of the new year, just easier to follow things.
If it increases the performance, then hey it's great. Otherwise, I kinda liked it before.
As long as we don't get so many forums the initial page load suffers greatly, I'm on another forum with like 30 forums :shock:

Hehe now that you mention it, perhaps the reason why they seperated it has something to do with the GOL STi testing, perhaps Beltronics is really in a class of its OWN!!! Hmmm... Perhaps we Bel people deserve to be above all others!!! HAHA!!!I don't see how it can increase performance...

ill be honest i kinda like it now. i dont have to weed through all the rx65 and STi stuff if i want to find stuff on the x50. just my opinion :wink:
