That was awesome... dammit now I really gotta get one :x

Jaysus, 300 grams! That's nearly like 2 V1's I wonder if the suction cup mounts are able to carry that kind of mass without any adverse effects?

Good job... I must say, your trip with the 'Big 3' awhile back that you and your wife took was one of the first real-reviews I saw of these detectors head-to-head in real-life encounters... ever since I saw that I loved seeing what you have had to say.

Default O measurable LO Leakage (STI)???

    Hi Veil Guy

You mention this(With this new radar detector, Beltronics has apparently done the "impossible." They have managed to fabricate a superhetrodyne radar detector that does not have any measurable LO leakage - typical of such detectors - that RDDs (radar detector detectors) such as the STALCAR/SPECTRE rely upon to alert proximate detector usage.

Take a look on this article(http://www.australianradar.com.au/ne...icle.php?id=37

me be you will get a big suprise!!!!
Does anyone knows anything more about the specification of the STI

That is board member InfoAust(Roy Zeger's) site. I don't know if I would believe that or not since before the STI came out InfoAust had the only solution to Spectre which was a $1400 modified V1. I'm not saying that Mr. Zegers ins't honest, but in this industry you just never can believe something 100% unless it is stated by a completely independant source or you test it yourself and see it with your own eyes.

At the last GOL test, I tested the STI against both of RadarRoy's spectres and even when the horn of the STI is right in front of the Spectres, not a peep from them. Just the STI alerting to the Spectre with a Ka alert. If stealthmicrosystems can make a new RDD that detects the STI and does not detect a billion other electronic devices I would really be surprised. I would bet that stealthmicro systems can't.
