Default got bel 995v back from service

love the newer version 4.5. i used to run the 3.6 and i had a laser falsing problem so i sent in since it was a free repair within a year. i also asked to upgrade software to the newest version 4.5.
bel sent back and repaired the laser circuit-no more falsing on laser now and much fewer pop falsing than my older 3.6 version. but, i miss not having the mute button when pop goes off with the newer software installed i cant hit mute when pop goes off? i used to hit mute if it went off alot with the 3.6 version. but its fewer falsing. dan well worth it.

    Default service 995

no charge because i bought from circuit city and the receipt was bought last july(so within a year)
but i didnt do it because it worked so well in everything but laser and so when sent in i asked them to go ahead and up the software to 4.5. there seems to be alot less falsing on pop but the mute wont work if the po is going off like it use to work with the 3.6 version, but it is falsing alot less. so i almost didnt send in but the laser had me nervous with me buying from roy a lp905 so i sent in and they also repaired or replaced the laser circuit and so far-no more falsing. definatly happy with their customer service. dan

    Dan,

Mute will still work on K and Ka bands, though, right? It just doesn't work any longer with 4.5 for the POP alerts....is that basically what you're saying?

    Default mute yes works fine

right sorry about that. mute works fine just when the pop alert goes off you can no longer mute the pop alert if its constantly going off at a light. but the amount of falses has gone way down. dan
