Lots of laser falses?!

Not sure if they are falses, but I have never seen so much laser use if they are not falses. Both my 940 and my RX-65 alert for laser on a stretch of I-25 between Fort Collins and North Denver. They always go off in the same place, at the crest of hills. There is a fairly small airport within 10 miles or so. I was told that this could be the cause of the laser alerts. But I am also getting Alerts in other areas. Areas which don't seem to be great places for LEOs to laser, with twists in the road and whatnot. Plus I thought LEOs didn't use laser that much except for very large highways.

Not to worry, Laser alerts is actually very common near airports. There are a large number of IR light sources in & around airports & on planes.

Yeah, I had heard that before. and that accounts for a lot of what I have been getting, but What about not near airports. Could there be a false?
