I've had a couple 35.3-35.4 falses recently, maybe that's what it is? Certainly they don't false as badly as Cobras though. Nothing does!
This is where the emissions from the newer Whistlers show up according to Michael B. Supposedly, detectors like the 78se will transmit CW 35.4 if you put it into menu mode.
I get these hits very occasionally in traffic with the RX65 in USA mode. I assume that with it's blistering fast Ka reaction time, it's catching a brief whiff of a passing Whistler. The alerts are 35.4x (in areas where there is no 35.5) and are always brief.
