    Default Beltronics VectorV6 in VA........safe???

Hey guys, this is my first post. I just bought this RD because I travel from VA into TN for work. I live in southwest VA. Do you know if the police state or county in this area have the Spectre RDD? I would appreciate any response. Also, how does this RD work for those that own it.

That is going to get you busted. Spectres are used in Va for sure. And the V6 is detectable by Spectre.

    X2. It's detectable.

If this is a concern you need to get either an Beltronics STi Magnum" onclick="replacer_hook(332)" target="_blank" href="http://radardetector.net/sti">STI, STI magnum or Redline.

x3. Also keep in mind that all window mounted units can be visibly seen even when stealithy 'hidden'. The only 'surefire' way to go to beat the Spectre and the eyeball is the STiR Plus. Luckily, the STiR+ is not only stealth, but is one of the finest units ever made in history.

Kinda OT but VG-2 hasn't been made or had parts produced for over 3 decades. right? Is it even still used in the US? I imagine almost all RDDs in the US are Spectres (or V1's with Ka-guard off )

Agree w/everybody if your concerned w/stealth then get you an Undetectable RD. Another option is IF you live close to the State line then maybe leave the V6 off (this would be painful I know) until you get out of VA and turn it on when your in TN going to work. Turn it off once you get back into VA going home. A painful option but it all comes down to Risk vs Reward.

BTW welcome to our most excellent site.

you could try a newer whistler "se" model if you don't have a lot of cash right now because the newer whistlers give out very very low emissions to the spectre.

There have been sightings of the Spectre down 81 along the border. You will most likely get caught at some point. Better get the Magnum or Redline.

Not necessarily..The new whistler SE models have VERY low radiation to the new spectres

    and are AFFORDABLE !

Just wire in a kill switch and keep a eye on the fuzz !

I drive into VA on 81 all the time. There is def a cop at the specific spot on 81 from TN to VA that is probably running spectres. I believe only the State Police have the spectres. If I am not mistaken, I am fairly certain I've seen someone get pulled over for having an Escort (non-redline). I have been running STI-Driver for 2+ years... no issues yet. You should just turn off the display and have it mounted under tint above the AS-1 line

Get a redline or sti. The redline has better range and is undetectable!

X2 on dark mode, just make sure its audible.
