Default Is this an older S7 RX-65?

I just found an RX-65 for sale here in France that is sold as "never used" but the box seems older. Could this be an S7?

    thanks

This is bad responding to my own post. I guess from the lack of responses it is difficult to tell what model it is. I'm buying it today so I guess I'll find out.

What is the FCCID? It should be on the side of the box and on the bottom of the detector on the serial number label.

If the FCCID is QL4G1S7 then it is S7

If the FCCID is QL4G7M4 then it is M4

    Escort,

Thanks, I purchased it and it is one of the first M4's. It is a rev 2.9. Is there a major difference between the 2.9 and the 6.2/6.3 M4's?

    thanks

New firmware will give you TSR if you order it. Other than that I think it is just new software to support different hardware but with the same functional specifications.

If the last digits have M80 on it be ready to run it might blow up.

Since we don't have TSR in France I don't need that. I would LOVE to upgrade it to REV 6.4 or 6.5 (The euro version with KA segmentation and increased sensitivity on K). How could I get that?

I think you have a problem.... The upgrade you are looking for may require purchase of a new unit.
