Default Front and rear antenna sit-r

Any idea if bel or escort are in the works of coming out with a two antenna 9500ci or sit-r. It would be pretty awesome. I have had numerous encounters of chp coming up behind and my v1 alerting me. What do you guys think??? Any rumers???

None that I'm aware of but you never know.

I have not heard any rumors. I don't think it will be any time soon. Escort will run with the "live" product for a while and hold off on other new releases (IMO). But it would seem like a reasonable update at some point.

Any other detector would most probably have alerted you to them coming up from behind also, especially an STi-R/Plus.

Radar detectors work so well because radar uses radio waves which easily bounce around the environment. A dedicated rear-facing horn is for a directional alerting feature (arrows).

Escortradar is right. The primary purpose for a real antenna would be for an arrow feature that tells you where the officer is coming from. EscortRadar I hope that you guys have something in the works for when that patent for VR expires.

That's the reason I would like to see two antennas. That way there could be either arrows or voice alerts telling you if the alert is coming from the back or front. I know the front antenna does good at picking up front and rear radar because the signal bounces around but I believe you have to have two antenna to be able to be alerted where it is coming from. We know there are other companys that use front and rear antennas , and one of them doesn't make very good detectors. So it would be nice to have someone make a remote detector with two antennas that works. Hint, hint .... Bel/escort before someone else builds them first and patents them.
