Just bought sti-r plus

Sold my complete v1 set up last week . Today was the first time I drove my car without a radar detector in 8 years. I felt naked . So I got on the phone while I was driving and gave greenradar a call and ordered up my new sti-r plus. I gets it tomorrow. Now to all you sti owners. Where is the best place to mount the antenna? I I'll be mounting it up front. Up in the upper grill or lower grill? Drivers side or passenger side? Need advice!!!!

higher the better and in the middle. Consider installing it in the inside of the vehicle where the headliner and window meet.
The superior elevation will result in optimum dectections.

I installed it yesterday. And after 5 hrs it doesn't pick-up radar. All other features work. Just won't pick-up radar. Back to v1

You have to log into Detector Tools and activate the detector. STi-R+ are shipped with the detector disabled and it can only be enabled via Detector Tools.

Read page 1 of the STi-R+ manual. It will save you from inadvertently turning off the detector in the future.

What do you mean, the radar is deactivated. Do you mean I have to hook it up to my laptop. Or is this done thru the settings with the controller? If I go thru the settings it tells me that all band are activated?

Tested with my stalker 34.7 gun and nothing

Am I missing something?

plug it into your laptop...and run detector tools to update it...

then it will work... READ THE MANUAL
