    Default STI Magnum minimum brightness

    Just wanted to say that thing is waaaay too bright at it's minimum setting. At least it goes completely black though.

    Any setting is too bright. Whistler 78SE dim was better.

    get a little bit of some window tint ? That may work.

    I feel your pain. I miss the 'dark' mode of the V995, but want the 'dark' black out mode the Magnum offers. I simply want all the options.

    Doesn't really bother me at night. I have it on its default setting. It's mounted as high as possible without obstruction. I should consider 'blacking out' the display, but I do like looking at the tech display whenever I encounter a Ka source to get an idea who I'm up against.
