Default does using tsr enabled make k band range/detection suffer?

we dont have tsr around here but i noticed that using the tsr enabled on the pro300 cuts down almost all k band falsing. theres not alot of k band radar in my area and i was getting alot of falsing from door openers so i enabled tsr and i now dont have hardly any falsing on k band. makes for a very quiet ride.
amazing detection from i/o ka 35.5ka band from a motorcycle cop today from pro300. let me know way in advance of the trap that was ahead. much better range and ramp up than the rx65 i had. really impressed so far with the pro300.

    Yes,it will slow I/O performance.
If you don't have TSR and K band is a legit threat in your area I would keep it off

It does not effect Ka band per se.
Personally I like to keep as many options off as possible on any detector.
The less the detector has to think about the better.

For instance, there has been testing that shows the 9500ix performs better with the GPS function turned off.

thanx for info. its just that unless im on hwy or going to different city...no k band here but with tsr the falsing is now almost none. and the ka range is great...better than the rx65. so around town im using tsr enabled for alot less false alerts on k band making a quiet ride. thanx again

TSR only effects K band detection, X and Ka is unaffected. Enabling TSR adds about a half second delay to K band alerts. Also note that Ka band sensitivity is not effected in Auto or City modes on our detectors.

Less false alerting will save you more in the long run over a slightly more responsive but chatty detector because you will not become numb to the alerts coming from your detector. When pressing the mute button becomes habitual you are asking for trouble.

thanx. i am very happy with the pro300 with tsr enabled...much less chatty...even in highway mode around town...tsr isnt used here but kills 99% false k band alerts now and k band isnt used much in florida at least around me its mainly laser/ka bands so this is good news. have a good one.
