Yes it's true. Last year I picked up a second hand sti-r cheap $500 NZ (second hand), yes thatís cheap in this country. Anyway I've finally made the decision to have it installed in my G37 (skyline 370gt). Got the G almost new (7000Kís) so didnít want drill holes etc.. over it now
Just a question or two for those in the know.
Does the Sti-r have the same detection performance as the Sti-r+?
Will this detector win me over to bell as I have had nothing but issues with all 5 bells detectors granted many years ago 4x990 int and first gen rx65.
I plan to run it with my V1c which has blown me out of the stratosphere for its sensitivity on all bands. Will the Sti-r keep up or will the V1 keep up?
The sti-r horn will be mounted dead centre in-between the two highest grill louvre. The centre support of that louvre will be removed split in two and plastic welded either side of the Sti-r horn.
It would seem the horn is located just be hide the two humps (is that correct?) which just fit between the top louvreís. Looking forward to playing with this set up.
Have no Idea where the display and the controller will go. Any suggestion?
