Beltronics vector 940 radar issue.

Hello, i recently got a vector 940 radar detector for free. When i plug it in everything starts up great and seems like its perfect. Sadly it doesn't seem to detect any radars... have drove past many cops and have went to areas where my friends radars go off. Just really would like to know if it is done for or is there any way to repair it? Thanks

We may have some good news for you. We may be able to help you with our special relationship with Escort. Please let us know what the FCC registration is on the back. Does it begin with S7 or M4? If its an M4 we should be able to have them take care of you. If it is an S7, we may be able to arrange a special service with a working S7 at their facility.
