Get my RX65 tomorrow!

I'm waiting impatiently for my RX65 from UPS tomorrow - getting this from Roy and I'm looking forward to it!
I just hope it has the new antenna.

Well, I just generally like the latest and greatest. Plu, someone ( I don't recall who) posted on here that they felt after testing the older vers and the new vers (M4 2.9) they felt the M4 antenna was a little better at detection.

Roy says he gets his Bel shipments twice a week, and this new vers has been out several weeks so I'm hoping it is indeed the latest.

By the way Dave, I'm sorry you lost your pup after so short a time. I have two labs and it is weird how they mean so much to me. Isn't it funny how dogs react to simple things like how you look at them? They are so great. Have you gotten another yet?

i have not used an RX 65 but from the test results its a great detector, good you got it from roy

F399 - What are the areas on I-35W known to have speed traps? I drive through there a lot and would like to know what you've noticed.

Well, I got my Rx65 last week (3/10) from Roy, and it was the new 2.9 version.

It falses in the same places as my old detector did on K band, but, does alert further away from the stationary radar traps. It's fun driving through 2 school zones and being in 30mph roads all the way to work.

i dont get much on 35, mostly the highways that lead to dallas i get cops

I have seen a cop usin laser near the Berry Exit and

one further south, right outside fort worth, i think burleson, i cop using laser and was parked behind a tree

i just say always have a car in front of you, never be the fastest one and leading a pack

20 and 30 east... i randomly see cops, got a ticket on 30 headed west from dallas, laser hit after 6 flags
