Has anyone recieved an STi from Roy?

Is indicated in his e-mail? I have the opportunity to buy one in the U.S. next week. I'm willing to wait if Roy has started shipping. If there not coming as indicated in the e-mail, I may have to buy elsewhere.

I tried ordering one from Roy........NO LUCK.

I'm not sure what's going on, he apparently has about 300 back orders and Bel is not supplying him with stock. In fact he's not taking any more orders at the present time.

It looks like you're in for a long wait if you want to buy from Roy.

The whole thing is a Fiasco.......

Bel is screwing Roy with an Elephants cock.

So typical of Beltronics.......100% BS Artists......

I just wish Valentine would Stealth his V1 so I wouldn't have to buy anything from Bel ever again........... :wink:

I already ordered one at Roy,s on december 29th. After a couple of days,i get a message from Roy,which told me that the guys of Bell were ''screwing around'' :shock: From that moment i heard totally nothing about my order.......
Seems like the guys from Bell are playing a game with Roy (and his customers :shock: ).
For all you guys in the States,it,s no problem to order one directly from Belltronics,but for me personal it,s only possible to order from Roy,because Bell is not sending worlwide.

In the rest of Europe the STI is not available,as far as i know.
I am still wondering what the motives are behind the games which Bell is playing with Roy?
Sometimes i am thinking that they only want to sell STI,s to the unexperienced people(most of the people on this forum are maybe a little bit to clever with their RD knowledge and experiences :!: )

I think this is a very keen observation. Folks that have the STI are reporting Ka falsing problems regardless of the version. Bel I am sure is aware of the problem. If Roy gets these current shipping versions and gets them out in large quantities folks here will be all over them like kids with new toys... If it doesn't live up to the hype there are going to be a big bunch of angry kids with expensive toys that don't work right... I don't think they want that to happen.

For better or worse we sort out the good from the bad here on this site and that gets posted on the net which is easily searched and found. Large reports of problems on this forum means Bel's STI sells will go into the tank. I cannot imagine the sales are all that brisk to begin with when your talking about a $450 detector.

I know I will wait for another month before I will just order one direct from Bel. I really want to buy it from Roy, but I don't think I want to wait until fall to get one.

Bel is currently only cranking out 50 a week, we are getting 20 of these right now

When production increases I will advise on the board when I can take more orders

I am just trying to fill the ones I have now

:shock: At that rate it may be a while before Bel can fulfill their promised orders to their major retailers. If your marketing dept has contracted to sell a given number of units to Road America Truck Stops Inc, or K-Mart or Best Buy, or Roy, then you simply have to attempt to meet those promises. Sounds like Bel is having production problems, software/hardware? I imagine the marketing gurus there are catching grief from all of their major accounts :!: I doubt if Bel is deliberately limiting supplies to anyone, just stuck with trying to deliver more than they can make right now. Supply....Demand = marketing blunder.
