Yup here we go: Well what VR decided to do instead of give me a brand new V1 I payed for is basically give me one that was used as a hockey puck in the Olympics.

VR offered me an 'upgrade' for my 13 year old V1 - they said 'send it in and another $275 and we'll upgrade you to the latest model.' I did just that, and I got a brand new V1 about three days later. Can anyone get $125 for any other 13 year old radar detector, towards a new one? I don't THINK so.

This is standard operating procedure at Valentine, and always has been. Just one more reason we zombies exist.
