I have begun seeing Instant On being used in my area, but have never received a POP alert when I encounter Instant On. Is it neccessary to have this mode on? With my Vector 995 I got a lot of False POP alerts and it was really frustrating. I do not think I have had one false with the new Rx 65 but was wondering what excactly the POP mode does.
Example: Using Rx65, travelling on straight, rural road 55mph, going about 80mph, and get a weak 1 K alert... I slow down knowing that it could not be a false becasue of location. I travel another mile or so and had forgotten about the alert but luckily I was turning off the road... as I was turning off the Leo clocked someone and I got a full 9 K alert but no POP. The Leo was right past my turn in the median. Why didn't it say POP. I thought POP was triggered with a strong, quick pulse.
Thanks for the insight.
