    Default Beltronics Target

    Hello!

I'm mixed-up, what does it mean when Beltronics radar detectors are sold without Bel, only Target (in Europe)...

And model names are other, too.

    You can see here http://www.target-automotive.nl/wcms.php?wcms[id]=74

    Thank You!

    With best regards,
    Janis Petersons

    Ok

Taget has contacts with Bel to be their European Distributor.

Neltronics is the distributor for AU and NZ

As such, they have special units designed for their distribution

They're developed for European use based on US models. RD's don't need to scan Ka superwide band here (except Finland) but they must have more sensitivity on 34.3GHz against low powered Multanova photo radars. There are some special frequencies (9.41GHz/9.9GHz/10.6GHz) in some countries (only BEL/Target Euro 550 can detects all of them) and here are other GSM frequencies which may set off an US detector near to GSM towers.
