Funny I was just wondering that myself.... I was thinking about breaking out some old lazer tag guns to see if that would do it.

OK I have a laser gun from my son I have not tried it but I dod run out and try the remote and no go.Im asking cause I was out yesterday and came aroung a coner onto the main road and there was a cop pointing a laser right at me and a few other cars. But my STI did NOTHING at all!So he did not have it trured on or my si did not pick it up he was pint blank from my sti to no more than 35 feet off the street!Does the laser have to be directly at my car or will the sti just pick up laser being used in the area even if its pointed at another car not mine?

Goin to try the laser gun now.

    thanks for the help guys!

The laser gun set it off once in awhile but not every time maybe 3 times out of 25 times trying to set it off. That could have just been the guns thought.I need a laser source thats continuous and see it will set it off everytime. Will one of those lased pointer kids have work?

laser poniter will not work at all for got to say that from my ponit of view i think that is ok for the sti to set only 3 times i am shocked tho only 3 times
SHOULD BE SETTING IT OF MORE THAN THAT If YOU SHOT IT MORE THAN 20 TIMES it should of went off more than 3 times TRY A DISHNET REMOTE MAYBE THe STI IS NOT THat great in sentivity.
