Default Blinder Installed w/ Veil on headlights

Heres a pic of the install of my Blinder M20 with Veil on headlights (can barely tell). The install was done by a professional installer that InstallNet set me up with. He did a good job considering its the 1st Blinder he ever installed, even though its a pretty straight forward install! You can barely tell the blinders are even there with the black on black!

It could be the angle of which the camera shot the photo, but those blinder heads look like they are pointed to the side a bit. The easiest way to make sure the heads are pointed straight forward is to put a board up against the license plate and then look down to see of the edge of the heads are parallel to the board.

If the heads aren't straight you will have problems with punch through.

I wouldnt take the chance with the plate. Throw a couple of coats on there just to be safe. They are evil devices and you will get punchthrough at huge distances. There is nothing VEIL or Blinder can do for you at 2500 if your plate is just out in the open. I would recommend the laser shield but I got a ticket in MD for $55 for one so.....
