    Default Veil+Blinder necessary?

I purchased an Escort radar detector and an M20 Blinder, somehow I also bought a can of Veil. My concern is, if M20 can do its job, do I still need to apply the Veil coating? However innoticieable it might be, I still don't feel like painting the headlight if not necessary.....

Yes, the veil is very necesary. In countless tests on this board the blinder alone isnt enough

Definitely use the Veil as it will make the jammers more effective especially at very long and very close range. It is also a backup if the jammers do not work for whatever reason leaving you with some protection and a short time to slow down if your detector alerts.

If you already bought Veil, then why not apply it?
As one would say protection is never enough

from what i see i dont think blinder jammer works all the time cause
my friend has one and when cops shoot him with laser they only shoot one
time there has been only a few times where the blinder goes off twice maybe where it did work so really you never know if it trully works 100%
of all the time from long range not close but long range that is why i am holding on for cheaper laser jammer.i allready have the lasersheld on my ride jsut need a jammer now.

I'm guessing from the physics I know that if you had a 500 Watt Mega-Death-Blinder-M-999999, you woulnd't need the Veil. Just another battery and alternator to run the Blinder.

Given that Blinder heads are expensive, it's less expensive and probably more reliable to add the Veil than it would be to add enough Blinder wattage to overcome the reflection from your headlights.

It's also a little more "stealthy" than having a Blinder head the size of a Buick hubcap right next to each headlight and above your plate.
