I'm assuming the YW stands for Year Week. My work is involved in varying degrees of manufacturing and we use the YW convention for numbering.
Eg YW 0427 means that the unit was assembled/built in the 27th week of 2004.
Keep in mind this may just be the manufacturing date, and the device may well be identical to the YW 0407 labelled item. The revision number would be the best indicator as to how up to date your product is.
Cheers,
