Question for all--what is the minimal distance to have a laser fire at the blinders to get it to sound off?
Before I left on a long trip, I tested the heads multiple times and each time, got the unit to fire.
However, on my trip, twice in two separate instances I had a LEO hit us with Lidar with about 250' between my car and the gun each time (they were traps we knew about so we knew exactly where to look)---no response.
However, I did get a hit from a rear facing laser of a cruiser sitting on the side of the road with someone pulled over--so, yeah, in theory, it's working but I would have been toast by the other two experiences. Even if it had gone off, I would probably have been toast given the distance.
I'm just a bit dismayed because I think my unit isn't performing 100%...but, won't be if I know if this is just beyond the limitations of the product--that I can understandbly live with.
