I just helped a friend install a Blinder M40 on the same make, model, and year truck. (Black)
We tested it with 3 guns listed below
Pro Laser III ----- JTG
LTI 20/20 --- 678 ft pt on Right front fog light - JTG center mass
Laser Alanta ------ JTG
We could not find a decent place to put jammers on the back without cutting holes somewhere
Hope this helps - 4 heads were spaced evenly in grill area only
 WOW!!!
That's great news!
WOW Thanks Bill!
It looks like I'm going to be ordering the blinders for my truck then
Hopefully the M45 will be better than the proven M40.
Can't wait for the test results
Funny how the 20/20 was the one that got the PT. Out of the 3 it's the oldest, right?Originally Posted by Bill R
If you check out youtube o there is a video of the truck with the blinder being tested. search laser jammer and look for one that was posted last week.
the lights on the truck are tough to cover. the lti is a tough gun to beat. the m45 should do better. take a look at the gol page.
for the money the blinder is hard to beet. the only other jammer I would was is the LPP. I have a LPP and get ocassional pts. no one jammer in my opion does erery gun perfectally. [/quote]
was that a 600ft punch thru on a M40 with all 4 heads on the front?
All 4 heads were on the front of the truck. I tried 2 heads on the back of my Hyandai elantra, and go immediate punch throghs. So, I would definately go 4 heads foward. I am not sure 4 heads would be adiquate for the back. I think big flat areas are hard to protect. But all in all, most LEOs go center mass, so the 45 Blinder should be sufficient. The only thing you could do for the lights is veil.
