If you want to quote me, please do so correctly, and use the proper annotation.
Otherwise, it seems like I'm writing the post, when, in actuality, you are.
Although no-one can deny that there seems to be a rash of recent reports of failure of the various diode-based units, it should also be said that there's many, many more such units in-circulation, and that even with this rash of posts, the numbers of units which have NOT failed would no-doubt greatly outnumber those which have.
And just under a year ago, let's not forget a similar rash of M40/20 failure postings here, too. Even within just the last two pages of posted threads (covering about the last 6 months), there's about 6 trouble/service calls. But again, I'll pose the question - is this "statistic" real? More than likely not, as there's undoubtedly quite a number of Blinder products on-road which have not had such problems.
Additionally, I'd hesitate to use the Forums here as a basis for *any* kind of "statistical" measure. This is an enthusiast/hobbyist Forum. As such, we have many early-adopters here who are either willing (or ignorant) "beta-testers." Similarly, with the nature of these Forums being a place to gather to to voice concerns as well as to solicit troubleshooting/service advice, it is simply *expected* for there to be more reports of trouble than what true numbers will otherwise show.
Finally, my views of the current-generation Blinder products are well-known. Although negative, they are, certainly, not in relation at all to durability/reliability - which itself can only be said to have yet to be proven. The M45/35/25 are well less than 7 months "to-market," and even compared with the newest of the top-flight diode-based jammers, still have much to bear-out in terms of real-world durability/reliability concerns.
Ok so it's alright to post stuff about other jammer problems here but we can't discuss the problem of the instant punchthroughs with the New Blinder M25/45 that was observed at SML by a forum member and confirmed video evidence of it
Steagall the new blinder is a POS. If it was good why do all the the members who crave stealth use a different jammer?
BTWs there have been no reported failure of the LPP or LI which the customer service hasn't dealt with in a perfect manner..And the new LPP has an extremely hih realiability it is beeing found out
Not to mention that the LI failures were occurring with the first batch of heads. I'd say they have it perfected by nowOriginally Posted by crazyVOLVOrob
