    Default Blinder Questions

What is involved in installing a Blinder M20 and how long does it typically take? How are the sensor wires run to the cab area to the alarm and switch control? Is drilling required to attach the sensors or run the wires?

What is the false alert rate on the Blinder and what types of things cause false alerts?

    direct sunlight?
cruise control laser on some cars?
    wind shear lasers near airports
middle rear brake light on some cars?
    other laser sources?

Yes you can. I will post pictures of what the darn swich looks like. All it is is a little siwtch with a LED. It stays green when you are not lasered. It turns red when you are lasered and a HIGH pitch sound alerts you. YOu never get falses from the Blinder. When it sounds you are 100% being lasered

    Default Blinder Install

Sorry that it has taken time to respond, was gone over the weekend

You have two laser jammer heads that go to the front. You would install these between your front plate and the headlamps in the grill of the car or under the bumper.

These get plugged into the controller box.

Leading out of the controller box are three wires: red, black and blue

The red goes to a hot 12 volt source
    The black to ground
The blue to your car radio if you have a mute function installed in your radio. If not, just cut the wire

Another cable comes out of the controller box, this has the buzzer, the led light and the power switch connector.

You can tape the buzzer under your dash
The light you can mount in your dash, or have hang out in some visible location. The switch can be dash mounted or taped under the dash

Assuming you don't have a W126 Mercedes where it's a real PITA to get from the engine bay to the interior I presume.
