Default Bel 985 detected Laser, Blinder didn't?

my Bel 985 radar detector screamed "Laser Alert" this morning while i was heading down the highway, yet my Blinder M20 stayed silent. any thoughts? i saw no patrol cars anywhere in the area, but that doesn't mean they weren't there. could it be the Blinder is not working? i know a few weeks ago it went off and my detector didn't. that made more sense to me, as the detectors are not the best "sniffers" of Laser. the unit powers up from red to green LED, and the speaker does emit it's tone, so i am not sure where else to check regarding it's functionality.

Could've been a false. I don't have a Blinder yet so I have no idea how much it falses. Or your detector for that matter.

I would say your blinder is fine, your Bel unit probably picked up a false alert, do not forget there are certain vehicles that may have been around you that are known to cause false alerts on laser.

I would need to agree, without seeing the officer it was a false.
One of the girl's in the office has the 985 and it runs laser every day by the gas station up the street.
Don't know why, but every dayI hear it.
Laser and there was no cop, and no Blinder alert.
Every day I tell her there was no LASER.

looks like all is well with both the bel985 and the blinder unit. both of them went off within a second or two of each other, the other day, and low and behold......there was LEO's just down the road. and he was aiming right at me!
