    Default Wire cut!

I had a blinder m20 on my 01 cobra. Well the axle was bad and I had to trade the car in. Well to make a long story short I had to have the car towed to down the block from the dealership. Then I slowly and I mean slowly drove it down to the dealer to unload it..

Well due to this, I had to quickly remove the blinder transponders and snip the wires about 3ft from the leds. Now I have to buy another m20 due to having a full size truck again. Can the audio shop simply run new wires to the transponders? I don't see why not...only 4 wires?

You do not need to buy another blinder head. Just strip both ends of the black wire down and you should see 4 different collored smaller wires, all you need to do is strip the plastic off these colored wires and connect them by color. Once you have connected them securely wrap them with black electrical tape. Should work no problem.

You can splice the wire, get the plug and the tool from Radio shack.
It's different, but it will work.
You need to use the jack to go back to the interface.
Make sure that each wire is sealed.
For others who are watching. DO NOT CUT THE WIRES IF POSSIBLE.

whewwwww ops: Thanks for the info. I knew I didn't want to have to buy 2 new heads so I had to take them. Hope someone inspects that car before they sell it.

You should strip, and then crimp all the wires, and then wrap it all in a nice little knot of electrical tape, holds much better then just electrical tape, and goes for around 1.50 for a container of like 25.
