    Default Is Blinder Upgradable? How?

I searched the site for this question - and did not find it (although I found one mention that Blinder was upgradable). With all the talk about Belscorts and their questioned upgradability I thought this question was also good for the lidar jammers:

What happens if a new model laser gun comes out next month - what are the chances that the Blinder will jam it? Do new laser guns require a software upgrade (assuming the gun was still at 904) - or could this theoretically require a hardware upgrade? How does a software upgrade work with the Blinder (i.e. send in the head unit?)

    Thanks

Over the past 5 yrs. the laser guns have changed.
Blinder still jams all the latest new models.
If a gun came out that Blinder had trouble with the units software can be up-graded. The unit would need to be sent in.
But for now no changes yet.

So basically, the Blinder can usually "adapt" to new guns without requiring to be sent in?

A couple new lidar guns are coming out this year :-) I'm not going to tell you which companies because it's a secret. I do have good news besides saving money on my car insurance. Blinder and Lidatek have a cool software setup that allows the jammer to choose a generic laser pulse train if a current model lidar guns pulse rate is not recognized.

For example, lets say Brand "X" lidar gun has a 500 pulse per second pulse train. The blinder and lidatek won't know what gun this is, therefore they send out a generic pulse train of lets say 1000 PPS. If a new gun comes out there is a good possiblity a blinder or lidatek will still jam it.

Well, good reply... so it SHOULD be able to, unless the companies come out with something very different.
