    Default One last blinder question....

Before I buy the blinder, I am wondering if I use the blinder and have BIG headlights, if a laser can still get a reading... are there ANY cases that it is possible to get a reading with a blinder?

Depends on the size of you vehicle. I personally called Blinder regarding the M20 and my Mitsubishi SUV (Mantero Sport). They told me an M20 would be fine and that the cop MIGHT be able to get a reading at about 100'.

Default Take the lights out of the equation

    Sethy,

May I suggest you try VEIL to take the lights out of the equation?

    Why leave anything to chance?

Think my lights are big enough to get a reading? I'm short on some $$ for the veil. When I get enough I'll be sure to get some.

This looks like a Chevy Cavalier.

If this is correct. Veil did a heck of a job with this indentical vehicle - metallic silver at Carl's last test in June.

Roy has provided the results on his other site.

This light coloured vehicle was, in fact, a metallic silver Chevy!

My sense if that either Blinder or Veil will help you with this set-up and Blinder can do the job on its own, if need be.

While your lights are large - their size is not especially so when compared to many other vehicles - including most hondas, toyotas, nissans, and dodges and, in fact, this trend is continuing on all new vehicles both foreign and domestic.

The dodge Intrepid had especially large lights and Veil does especially well at treating these effectively.

In fact, it is our preference for cars that have large lights. When they are treated with Veil, the entire headlights appear "black" so we can turned around a weakness and make it a strength in laser countermeasures.

You betcha, it's really the only car I can afford. They are common, so I won't stick out & keep a low profile. I love the front on this car, it is very curvy so I know police will have a hard time getting a reading on this car with laser. I will have veil & blinder on the way soon.

    yeah.

found the car to be quit stealthable [is this a word???] given its pointed nose and raked hoodline.

thought, it could use a bit more brake, though...

    good luck with it!
