Default Can the heads be mounted vertically?

I went out to install my new M25 this morning and quickly realized that it is beyond my limited ability to mount the heads straight and level in the proper location on my 08 350z. Every surface is curved, angled, and very tight for access and i dont have any faith in my ability to get it right. However, i can relatively easily mount the heads vertically. Will mounting in this way reduce the effectiveness? If it will then i will just have to find an installer to do the work. What do you guys think?

Here is a picture of the mounting locations -

    where it should be mounted

where i am able to mount

I don't know about the Blinder M25 but the Laser Interceptor can be mounted vertical with no problems from what i understand.

Where do you live, maybe you are close enough to someone on the forum here that can assist.

ok thanks, i guess i will go ahead with the vertical mount. One last question - when mounting this way i assume i will want the jamming LED's positioned at the top, but i can't tell from looking at the head which way that would be. With the head horizontal and the label right-side up, are the jamming LED's on the left or the right?

The back of the head that have the wire going in is the jamming side..The side of head away from cord is receive side.

You would want receivers on top at that location. Also, performance of the Blinders (due to their lens) is different when mounted vertical (vs. horizental). Same for the LI:

Can you elaborate on that please? I assumed the opposite since the jamming leds at the bottom would position them further from the both the headlights and the front plate.
