Default Blinder M20 Xtreme Not working

    Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a Jammer tester off Chris. The thing works because my Rx-65 goes crazy when I turn the thing on but my blinder doesn't make a sound at all . To make matters worse, I tested it on my next door neighbours blinder and That doesn't make a sound either. I've tested it at all different angles, positions, distance's on mine and my neighbours and it does not make a single sound. Both units power up correctly with a tone and the green light is on. Does anybody know whats going on??

    Thanks Heaps,

    Daniel

haha, sounds like a conspiracy by JTW against the Blinders

if the blinders are powered on and you are getting no warnings then I'm affraid its the tester and not the actual units.

if laser is used in your area and you know the spots I would suggest you go find one and try the blinders out...

also post a pic of your install so we can look at that as well!

How far away from the blinder are you when you trigger the tester?

I have a tester and I find it works best from about 4-6 feet away from my RDs. Also, for some reason it's easier to trigger my X50 with the tester than my V1, even though the V1 is more sensitive.

Try it from different distances and angles and see what happens.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

I've tried it from 1000's of different positions and no tone from the blinder what so ever. It can't be the tester because my RX-65 goes beserk when i turn it on. Even my neighbour has tried 1000's of times to get it to work and no luck . Ive emailed chris and Blinder with no reply as yet.

    I did not see your e-mail sales@blinderxtreme.com.
The tester that chris is pushing will not set the Blinder off.
The filter that blinder is using will not let fales alarms in.
This tester is nothing more than a false alarm.
The tester Roy sells will set the Blinder off, this unit is sending a true laser signal.
Denmark prides themselves on no false alarms, in this way you are not driving down the road with your Blinder going off all the time.
I have tried different testers and the only one that works with the Blinder is the one Roy carries.

You can try a Laser rangefinder, that sets both of my detectors and my blinder off

Leon, I would like clarification on this claim of yours. The LED's on my tester are 904nm LED's, the same light wavelength as the police lidar guns and it also has the same frequency pulse as an LTI 2020 ultralyte. Roys tester uses an LED as well. How is your claim that Roy's tester is a "true laser" signal valid when it uses and LED like mine? My tester has been used to test Escort ZR3's, Mimic's, and a ton of radar detectors and all of them set off. Maybe instead of just claiming my tester is a false signal maybe these people installed their blinders incorrectly?

    Okay guys,

Thanks for your reply, The blinder's are deffinatly installed correctly, I mean come on, its not that hard. It can only plug in 1 way and plus I work for a high performance car company which installs computers (motec, Haltech, etc) and alot of car audio, and the install is no harder than a car audio install. Plus my blinder power's up fine (tone a red light) then goes too green and the tester doesn't work on my neighbours either, therefore unless we both got dodgy blinders which is extremely unlikely, then I'm going to have to go with what Blinder Dude is saying.

Has anybody else tested the jammer tested with there blinder??

    Thanks guys
