Yes- this is the proper way of installing the blinder. But I would just like to point out if you install it so that the sticker on the side is readable, the unit is UPSIDE DOWN.

Not really upside down cause if you switch your Left head with the right and the right head with the left the sensors will be on the outside AND the label will be readable

    Well... here's my viewpoint...

For a particular price point, what performance do you get? Most people don't want or aren't willing to pay unlimited amounts of money (like some of us here) to get the absolute best protection.

Say, for example, for the SAME MONEY you could either get the Blinder M45 (with 4 heads, all up front) or the LI (2 heads, up front).

Which would perform better for the same price? There is no point trying to pit the 2 head Blinder versus 2 head LI since they aren't even at the same price point.

I would actually think that a SUV might do better with the Blinder's 4 heads, because you could put the 4 heads all over the front (ie. at the 4 corners, as close to the reflective points on the car), while the 2 head LI would have to be placed somewhere in the middle to try and catch as much of the narrow laser width as possible, which means it might even miss the laser shot sometimes if the cop shot the top part of the SUV where the LI couldn't "see".

So lets compare apples with apples. Let's see a Blinder M25 (2 heads) versus LI 1 head, M45 (4 heads) versus LI 2 heads, and... well, a Blinder M85 versus LI 4 heads. They're all at similar price points (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you get my point).

And regarding the first post, I dont know anything about the background, but having owned an Mitsu Evo 9 (black) myself, it is a very "upright" car, it isn't sleek by any definition. And with the shiny intercooler on the front, the reflective surfaces are massive. So I think the Evo is a pretty hard car to "stealth" out.

Lets evaluate everything with a level head, not speculation and accusations. If the Blinder M45 fails to even come close to the LI 2 head, well, let it be said as fact, not as some guess.

sorry to say but the new blinder rocks, me and NMA did testing on my car, and before with the m25 I was getting punch trough at about 6-700 feet this time with the m27 it was JTG. End of story.

IMO, the new M27/M47 is way better than the old M25/M45, and you can't compare Blinder to LI since they're different...
a Fair comparison would be M27 vs ZR4, or LI vs AL,LPP...

    Not according to Blinder themselves

It doesn't matter if you stack 2 M47s together, you'd still won't the same power of a LI dual, or any diode based jammer...
